To Whom it may concern:
The letter is to answer the questions concerning the possible On-site septic design on the above
referenced lots. Lot 2 already has a new septic and well, see MOA permit OSP 131386. The
following is an itemized list of the type soils and water table elevations discovered on each lot:
1. Lot number one is on the north end of the original parcel. The proposed lot size is 1.5
acres and the soils consisted of well graded gravels (GW) for the entire 14 foot test hole
depth. Water was observed at 14 feet.
2. Lot number two is in the middle of the parcel. The proposed lot size is 2 acres and the
soils consisted of well graded sandy gravel (SW) for the entire 16 foot test hole depth.
Water was observed at 15 feet.
3. Lot number three is on the south end of the parcel. The proposed lot size is 1.3 acres and
the soils consisted of silty gravel (GM) for the entire 15 foot test hole depth. Water was
observed at 13 feet.
4. All of the water elevations were monitored thru the seasonal high water period therefore
these readings are final.
5. The neighboring wells in the area have been shown on the site plan with their depths and
flow rates. As stated above lot 2 had a new well drilled last year its depth and flow rates
are referenced on the site plan also. As can been seen the area has lots of water, lot 2 is
even artesian. The lots are large and the two new wells will not impact any of the
neighboring wells or the availability of water to them.
6. On lot 1 the test hole is outside of the reserve area my justification is the soil on all of the
surrounding lots are the same as this lot, clean sandy gravels, with water at about 10 to 14
feet, which is what this lot has also.
The soils and water flow are excellent and will support an on-site septic and well system. Please
call me with any questions or comments concerning this proposal.
