We are submitting this design and permit application for the construction of a new septic system.The attached site plan identifies the location of the home and the proposed septic location and alternate site. No conflicts exist between this proposed system and any other well or septic system, whether on this lot or adjacent lots. Adjacent lots are served by a community water system. This lot will also be served by the community water system. The ground surface on the lot slopes moderately to the north. Ground contours are shown on the site plan showing the grade and direction of flow. Slopes greater than 25% are found within 50' of the absorption trenches, but the total drop from the flow line elevation to the toe of the steep slope is less than 10'. Storm water drainage will not impact this septic system. The new trenches will be constructed parallel to the slope as much as possible. The new septic system will be a minimum of 200' from all wells and 100' from surface water. The alternate site is located more than 8' from the primary site. The septic tank is 5' from the absorption trench. A new test hole will be placed prior to construction and water monitoring completed for seven days prior to construction. Redesign will be completed if necessary. Please refer to the attached test hole logs and plan and profile sheets for the septic design. The improvement will in no way restrict or limit the current or future ability of MEA to fully enjoy the benefits of the easement for any and all utility purposes that it presently enjoys under the easement. 2. MEA will be held harmless by the landowner from liability for any and all damages or injury to any ` person or property that may result from the existing and future use of the easement by MEA, its contractors, or assigns. 3. MEA will be held harmless by the landowner for any and all liability arising out of or relating to any use of the easement by others under a Letter of Non-Objection. 4. The landowner will be liable for any damages caused to MEA facilities by the improvement in the easement. 5. The landowner will be responsible for any special construction costs incurred by MEA due to the improvement in the easement. 6. The landowner will assure compliance with all applicable safety codes relating to the improvement in the easement. 7. Use of this letter by the landowner, their successors or assigns will constitute acceptance of these conditions. 8. Alteration of these conditions shall invalidate this letter. 9.
