Subject:' Temporary Use of Sewage Holding Tank for a Commercial
Building, Northeast Corner of Arctic and International
Airport Road Intersection, Anchorage, Alaska
Gentlemen:
We are currently involved in .the design of a building located at the
northeast corner of Arctic Boulevard and International Airport Road
in Anchorage. We have checked with the Municipality of Anchorage
sewer utility and find that there are no sewer lines adjacent to this
property. They have further informed us that the State of Alaska is
in the process of advertising for bids for the construction of Inter-
national Airport Road past this site with construction to proceed
next summer. We have also been informed that this contract will
include a new sanitary sewer and storm drain system along International
Airport Road.
We hereby request approval of the temporary use of a waste holding
tank for the subject project until connection can be made to the
proposed sewer system.
Our client is interested in proceeding with construction before the
onset of cold weather. We would, therefore, appreciate your review
of this matter as soon as possible~ Please advise if there is any
way we can expedite the review and approval process.
