In ,July, I wrote a letter to your office informing you that the above system had been installed and that I was waiting for the Owners to construct their home so that I could obtain the required swing ties. I contacted the Nielsen's (property Owners) and they now have their house far enough along that I can obtain the swing ties. Unless you have an objection, I'd like to wait until the snow melts so that I can locate all the clean outs. I should be able to turn the record drawings in by the end of May. Since the system is completed with the exception of the of record drawings, I assume that a new permit will not be required. There has been development on the lot to the northeast of this lot. See sheet 4. Domestic Water: There are no wells or septic systems within 200' of the proposed improvements as shown on sheet 4 of the enclosed design. The subject lot is proposing to drill a private well. The well and its protective radius will have no adverse effect on the surrounding lots. Septic System: The subject lot has a series of benches and slope which range between 4% and 15%. The proposed bed system can be installed without requiring any waivers to seasonal high water table or bedrock. There will be no adverse effect on the surrounding lots. Drainage: The drainage, in general, is from the east to west. When the property is developed, the general drainage should remain the same. There is enough slope to the property so that the lot can be landscaped to prevent ponding around the septic system. There is a small drainage swale located on the lot to the north. The swale is shallow and appears to carry water intermittently throughout the year. The subject septic system should remain 100' from the swale. There are no other streams or other drainage channels on or within 100' of the lot. All disturbed areas will receive topsoil and seeding to prevent erosion.
