Subject: KNIK HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION WEST ADDITION CASE S-3740
Dear Mr. Strickland:
Pursuant to your September 12, 1975 letter concerning the subject subdivision,
we had R & M consultants drill 6 more test holes of which 5 were perc tested.
This now gives 13 recent tests on the 12 lots involved if we do not consider
the original 6 holes drilled in January 1974 as relevant. Eight of the total
of 13 holes have had perc tests run which measure up to acceptable standards
as published by your department.
Copies of R & M's report on the 6 new holes and the perc tests on the 5 tested
are attached for your information and files. In addition, a copy of the plat
map for the subdivision is also included on which the location of the holes
with the soils classification for each has been plotted. A suitable area on
each lot has been designated for drain or leach areas, and a 100' radius circle
showing location of water wells which can be drilled and still maintain required
spacing from sewage facilities is shown.
We believe this completes the September 12, 1975 requirement for supplemental
data and request clearance so we may file the final plat for the subdivision.
