Septic Tank Replacement Dear On-Site Services Engineer: The owner of the above lot has a septic tank that is nearing its end of useful life, we are submitting this permit application for its replacement. The attached site plan identifies the location of the home, existing septic system, as well as the public water service line. No conflicts exist between this proposed system and any other wells , water service lines, or septic systems, whether on this lot or adjacent lots. The new septic tank will be a minimum of 10 0’ from all wells and surface water, more than 10’ away from the water service line and foundation, and more than 5’ from the existing absorption trench. Please refer to the attached plan for the septic design. If this design is followed, there will be no adverse impacts to adjacent properties.
