To Whom it may concern:
This letter is to answer the questions concerning the new On-site septic and wells on the
above proposed new subdivision. From the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) data files
the nitrite levels and-wel! flows have been shown on the attached site plan, _C1.._Of the
twelve surrounding properties eight have nitrate data available. The maximum nitrate
level found was 1.65 mg/L for DAFOE BLK 2 LT 1A which is low.
All of the surrounding wells have been roughly located on the site plan, to verify that the
new wells will not impact the neighboring lots. The site plan also shows the total depths
and flow rates. The average well flows varies between 4 and 5 gallons per minute and the
depth is 150 to 180 feet deep. Both new wells (Lot 2&3) have been drilled see attached
well logs. The recovery rate for both new wells is over 20 GPM. All of the neighboring
wells have flow rates over 3.5 GPM and will not be affected by these two new wells.
The soils and well flows are good and will support an on-site septic and well system. All
three lots have new septic permits issued which meet all of the MOA requirements.
Justification for allowing this subdivision to be approved by the On-site Department is the
permits have all been issued with no adverse affects to any of the surrounding properties.
